Inside our 48-hour design sprint

Sticky notes, bad coffee and one very good idea. A look behind the scenes of how we kick off new projects.

Our sprints are short, loud and surprisingly structured. Two days, one room, zero slide decks. Here is how a typical kickoff unfolds.

Day one: diverge

We fill the walls with references, words and ugly sketches. Nobody is allowed to say “but” before lunch. By evening we have more than a hundred directions pinned to the wall.

Day two: commit

We vote, kill our darlings and prototype the three strongest ideas. Clients leave with something they can touch — not just a promise of what might come.
